Annamrita Foundation (Formerly known as ISKCON Food Relief Foundation) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Mumbai, India. We strive to eliminate hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools. Annamrita Foundation also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.

Vision: Our vision is to serve nutritious and sanctified high quality food to the underprivileged children in India. In line with the objectives of the Mid Day Meal project our Goal is to increase enrolment in schools, reduce malnutrition and ensure no child is deprived of an Education due to Poverty and Hunger.Annamrita Foundation is a non-profit organization that runs on a public-private partnership (PPP) model. We act as an implementing partner of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, there is a firm support from the Government of India, the State Governments and associated organizations.We reach to 1.2 Million children in 20 locations across 7 states of India, providing them with freshly hot cooked meal on school days. Our target to reach the figure of 2.0 million children by 2021. Mid day Meal – The Mid day Meal Scheme is a school meal program of the Government of India designed to better the nutritional standing of school-age children across India. The program supplies free lunches on working days for children in primary and upper primary classes in government, government aided, and Madarsa . Annamrita Foundation plays an important role in the expansion of the Mid Day Meal Scheme. The organization has its presence in 20 kitchens across India. Annamrita Foundation is a non-profit organization that runs on a public-private partnership (PPP) model. We act as an implementing partner of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, there is a firm support from the Government of India, the State Governments and associated organizations. This has enabled our school lunch program to grow from feeding 500 children in the year 2004 to over 1.2 million children in 2019.
In the month of August 2019, JW Marriott Hotel, a group of Aria Hotel Consultancy services Pvt. Ltd donated 10Lakh INR to annamrita foundation Delhi for 1000 children’s meal for the year.
In Jamshedpur, Govt. of Jharkhand launched Dal BhatYojna to feed everyone with the help of annamrita foundation initiative. For INR 10 everyone can go with full meal. The smart mobile van will stop various location of Jamshedpur. The surrounding area of Railway station, Hospital, Bust stand, Court etc will get benefit by this scheme.
Govt. of Tripura signed anMoUon dated 1-10-2019 with annamrita foundation to feed 44000 school children under mid meal program for west Tripura district (Agartala). Come forward to establish a centralized kitchen for eradicating hunger from the country.
The Mid-Day Meal Program, with an aim to end classroom hunger, has been reaching out to millions of school children every day with freshly-cooked nutritious meals, statistics show that children in India are in need of immediate attention.
